Josh is an accomplished athlete who has passionately explored all levels of sport. He has excelled in programs such as baseball, hockey, and basketball; Josh could seldom be found sitting at home! His Resume includes being selected to proudly represent his home province, Nova Scotia, as a member of the 2005 Canada Games Baseball roster.  His experience in basketball led him to a successful coaching career.  In 2009, he held the position of Head Coach for the Dr. J.H. Gillis Men’s High School Basketball Team in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

Thomas is originally from Victoria and moved to Vancouver in 2011 to further pursue his career as a personal trainer. He is a red seal chef, certified in sports nutrition, specialist in strength and Conditioning and a personal trainer. Thomas competes as a provincial level bodybuilder and a sponsored athlete with prosupps. He specializes in transformations, weight loss/muscle building and is an expert in nutrition plans. With a decade of experience he will help you reach your goals!

I train for transformations. Muscle gain fat loss as well as competition prep for bodybuilding/figure/bikini shows.

The philosophy behind Volleyball Academy is to make you stronger and faster throughout your season. With the strength and conditioning program, you will train to increase your jump height, foot speed, reaction time, and swing speed. These are accomplished by fine tuning movement patterns, working on correct muscle recruitment, and progressively overloading strategically in coordination with your schedules.
